What a great shot!
P.S. How do you like the Digital EOS Rebel? I'm torn between the rebel and the new Sony 8 megapixel digital camera for the same price - thoughts?

EOS 10D & 300D chips has much lesser noise than Sony 828. Plus opportunity to mount different lenses will give you total freedom in creative photography.
Perhaps Christinee will be so kind and will release parameters: Lens, ISO, F-stop and shutter speed
Since there isn't any record in EXIF I can only bet it's Canon EF-S 15-55 / 3,5 - 5,6 @ 55 on ISO 200 with 1/200 held in hands. Am I right ?
About the photo: There is visible motion blur. DOF would be quite shorter - to blur distracting parts from the background. Otherwise it's nice Ibis

I just got the Rebel in November, and as you can tell, I'm having a lot of fun with it and still getting used to the ability to manually set all the specifics of it. Previous to that, I had a Sony Mavica (with the cd's as the media), which I was thrilled with but always felt constricted by the digital-ness of it. Before that I had a Nikon N70 which was what got me started on photograph.
I love the Canon Rebel mostly because of the interchangable lens and the features of a traditinal camera. That was the main selling point on the camera for me, and probably the only reason I upgraded from my Mavica.
As for specifics on the actual photo, I used a Sigma 25-300 mm lens (my favorite for the versitility). For this picture, the lens was set to about 260mm. F-Stop was 5.6 with 1/200 and yes, it was hand held. I was quite a distance away from the actual bird, which is why I used the zoom lens.
